Background: My name is Andrew Bernard, and I graduated from Bates College in May 2011 with a degree in Biology. My weblog is geared towards describing my post-graduate escapades, which have all turned out to be international affairs thus far. I hope to gain experience in field work, and find out exactly what I’m interested in studying later.
URL: The “Murphy” I refer to is Murphy’s Law. I tend to wind up on the losing side of my frequent contests with him.
Title: “I never said most of the things I said” is one of my favorite Yogi-isms. It is meant to call attention to the motivation of this weblog: combating my usual brevity with preemptive insight, and in so doing stifling attempts to incorrectly fill in the blanks with the holes a simple “it was good” tends to leave.
Suggestions: Hopefully you find my posts interesting enough to keep reading, but if you find the content dwindling or would like me to reflect on other aspects of my travels I hope you’ll tell me. It’s always nice to get some feedback.
